As per the ATT2-course, we went and took making-of footage of OutoJazz-event hosted by the Outokumpu City’s Cultural Office at the Theatre Kiisu at Outokumpu’s old mine.

My own making-of choice for this assignment was photography as I found it more fitting just to snap pictures while recalling my memory how to use a system camera, like the Olympus E-M1 Mark II.

🤔 What did I Learn?

So, what did I concretely learn? For starters, what settings to use in which lighting conditions. (ie. Bigger ISO-count, and tighter shutter speed in bright conditions as the longer speeds can ruin the sensor by burning it and the opposite in darker conditions like indoors at the Theatre Kiisu.)

✨ Points to Improve:

1. First and foremost, THE FOCUS. I know, I know. But considering the small viewfinder on the Olympus-camera, its kind of difficult to get the focus spot on (unless if you use the automatic one, that I kind of forgot about xd).

2. SHOOT SHOOT SHOOT. As I started taking more photos throughout the week, I recognized and realized that shockingly — as with anything, really, I have honed in my craft.
